Blue Ice, cupressus arizonica var. glabra
Blue Ice is another beautiful Christmas tree grown on farms in the Southeast. The Blue Ice has beautiful silvery blue needles and makes a great Christmas Tree.
This tree is also called Blue Pyramid. It will grow to a height of 30 feet or more with a spread of 8 to 10 feet. Blue Ice is hardy to - 5 degrees F. It prefers hot dry conditions, well drained soil and full sun. it's a common plant in the dry conditions of the Southwest and is becoming more popular for landscape and Christmas trees in the Southeast.
